Fire Watch Patrol Service
Tampa, Dunedin, Clearwater, Oldsmar, Pasco, Pinellas
If your fire alarm or sprinkler system are out of service for an extended period of time, the local Fire Marshal will require you to have a fire watch service walk the buildings until the system is back up and running. We provide a certified fire watch patrol. A certified fire warden is required to walk the buildings or locations and document the patrol findings on a fire watch log. The log will be turned in after the entire fire watch patrol ends. The fire watch documentation must remain on site for the fire marshal or fire inspector to review at all times. We provide this important service and watch your buildings so you don’t have to. Give us a call or click on Contact US for our fees and contract information.
Providing fire watch is very important to us. Many of our personnel are Firefighters or Security Officers trained in fire watch. Our fire wardens can cover from a minimum of five hours to twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The local Fire Marshal dictates the required coverage. We provide your fire watch patrol logs at the end of the fire watch, see Florida State Statute 633 and NFPA-1.
Let us worry about keeping your building and its occupants safe while you sleep.
(FIRE WATCH LOGS ARE NOT RELEASED UNTIL YOUR BILL IS PAID IN FULL)
If you are providing any type of Hot Work service like welding or brazing, you will be required to maintain a fire watch standby for up to thirty minutes after the work has been completed to make sure that a fire does not start. This is a building safety requirement.
A fire warden is a person trained in assessing and monitoring for emergencies to buildings or a location. The fire warden will call 911 and alert the occupants in case of a fire or similar emergency. Fire wardens are trained in conducting these patrols and they are required to document their findings of each patrol on a fire watch log. The fire watch log is to be turned into the property owners or the fire department at the end of the patrol service. The logs must be kept on site for the fire inspector or fire marshal to review for up to two years.
